I absolutely LOVE it when I get an inquiry from a girl {and in this case, a friend!} wanting a gorgeous portrait {or two ;-)} of herself! Too many people {ahem, women!} put off having pictures taken for this reason, or that… and before you know it, you don’t have ANY updated, fun pictures of yourself! As a working Mom, and I know the feeling all to well! You’d think a photographer would always have updated shots of herself, but nope! It’s something you really just gotta make happen. And although it may feel a little awkward at first to be the only one in front of the lens, we always warm right up and get into the swing of things. This session with Anel was an absolute BLAST. It was so fun getting to know her personality from behind the camera! We headed up north of San Antonio to the Cibolo Nature Center, where the grounds are always gorgeous {these were taken in the dead of winter! Thank you, mild Texas winters ;-)}. Anel made it clear she wanted all kinds of shots, artsy, up close, from a distance, etc, and so I just did my thing!
